SIA “Jaunmīlgrāvja ostas kompānija” has completed a two-year project “Green Innovations with Digitized Loading Process” in the February 2024

To improve the speed and energy efficiency of cargo handling, the company has installed an electrically powered crane and introduced a special system to digitize and automate the cargo handling process or cargo weighing, handling and storage.

The company bought this electrically powered crane, which has about 80% less emissions and 60% less energy consumption compared to a similar fuel powered machine.

 The new crane will help us to raise the work efficiency, improve the loading process and the service in general. Thanks to an integrated weighing and cargo recording system, a precise weight scale is now integrated with the truck weight scale. This will allow the company to load trucks efficiently and precisely and save clients’ resources by ensuring that trucks are neither overloaded nor underloaded. The company can now both be green and take care of our roads.

 The project was implemented and co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism within the open project call “Application of Green Industry Innovation and ICT Products and Technologies”. The overall cost is 1.3 million EUR, from which 583 789 EUR comes from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism and public financing.

2023.gada 19. oktobrī attālināti norisinājās projekta  „Zaļās inovācijas ar digitalizētu kraušanas procesu”  informatīvā sanāksme

SIA „Jaunmīlgrāvja ostas kompānija” šī gada 19.oktobrī organizēja projekta „Zaļās inovācijas ar digitalizētu kraušanas procesu” (Līguma (Nr. NP/2022-3) starpposma informatīvu pasākumu par projekta izpildes gaitu un aktuālajiem izaicinājumiem un to ietekmi uz projekta ieviešanu. Sanāksme norisinājās attālināto Zoom platformā un tajā piedalījās pārstāvji no Ekonomikas ministrijas, Latvijas Investīciju un attīstības aģentūras, Satiksmes ministrijas, Rīgas domes Ārtlepas un mobilitātes departamenta, Rīgas Brīvostas pārvaldes, kā arī SIA „Jaunmīlgrāvja ostas kompānija” partneruzņēmumiem.

Sanāksmes ietvaros tika sniegta informācija par aktuālo projekta gaitu, uzsākot tā noslēguma ieviešanas posmu un strādājot pie projektā iegādājamās iekārtas - elektriskā celtņa SENNEBOGEN 870E - uzstādīšanas uzņēmuma teritorijā. Attiecīgi, šajā fāzē īstenojamās aktivitātes ietvertu darbinieku apmācība lietot tehnoloģijas, kā arī semināra par darba drošību un elektrodrošību organizēšana, IT pakalpojumu nodrošināšana digitalizācijas procesa ieviešanai, energoaudita veikšana celtnim, celtņa svaru verificēšana un projekta noslēguma pasākuma organizēšana.

Kā galvenie izaicinājumi projekta ieviešanas laikā, kā arī tieši attiecībā uz tā sekmīgu ieviešanu un uzņēmuma kopējo attīstību un konkurētspēju, tika pārrunāti šādi: sekmīga IT sistēmas ieviešana (ar IT risinājumu izstrādi un savietojamību ar uzņēmuma esošo IT nepieciešamie aspekti, kā arī testēšana, labojumu veikšana līdz pilnīgai ieviešanai), kvalitatīvu elektrodrošības pasākumu ieviešana, iespējamā izmaksu paaugstināšanās, jo tiks ieviests energoietilpīgs risinājums, kā arī uzņēmuma teritorijas apkārtējo ceļu infrastruktūras joma (tās ietekme uz projektā sasniedzamo rezultātu ilgtspēju un uzņēmuma kopējo attīstību).

In September 2023, representatives of SIA "Jaunmilgrāvja port company" went on a project visit to Munich, Germany, visiting the company Sennebogen Maschinenfabrik GmbH. The visit was carried out as part of the project "Green innovations with digitized loading process", during which familiarization with the specifics of the use of the equipment to be purchased in the project, the SENNEBOGEN 870E crane, took place. According to the representatives of the company, such a visit is important for the successful implementation of the project in order to fully ensure the compliance of the use of the equipment with the technical specifications and the needs of the company.

It should be mentioned that already in 2022, as part of the exchange of experience, the representatives of the company went to the cooperation partner of the project in Stavanger, Norway, the company NorStone AS, for the use of new innovative green technology and digitized warehouse accounting, taking into account the modernization measures planned as part of the project. During this visit, the partners mutually shared their experiences on stone chip cargo storage, warehouse management, transportation to the warehouse, delivery to the ship's loading area, and loading/unloading from the ship.
The company emphasizes that the implementation of this project is important for the development of the company and the successful implementation of such investments must be ensured, therefore regular communication and cooperation with suppliers and partners is essential.

 Working together for a green, competitive and inclusive Europe

On February 7, 2022, SIA "Jaunmilgrāvja ostas kompānija" signed the agreement (No. NP/2022-3) with the Latvian Investment and Development Agency for the implementation of the project "Green Innovations with Digitized Loading Process".

The project is implemented with the support received from the Norwegian financial instrument 2014-2021 within the "Introduction of Green Innovations and Information and Communication Technology Products in Production" competition of the "Entrepreneurship Development, Innovations and Small and Medium Enterprises" program.

Considering the demand to increase energy efficiency, the company had already previously evaluated the needs of customers and the increase in demand for more energy efficient technologies and more energy efficient stacking process. Within the framework of the project, a mobile crane will be manufactured and customized according to the company's needs, and a cargo handling system will be developed, which includes an integrated weighing module, an automated weighing process and a digitalized lumber handling and storage process.

By implementing this project, the services will be improved, reducing not only the amount of harmful emissions, reloading more efficiently and better monitoring the loading process with the new crane, but also the efficiency of customer transport services will be increased – that will be done by reducing the amount of harmful emissions for the customer's transport, creating cost savings not only on transport efficiency, but also avoiding overloading of cargo vehicles.

The Norwegian company NorStone has been approved as a cooperation partner in the project. The project partner is interested in the modernization measures planned by SIA "Jaunmilgrāvja ostas kompānija" in order to provide new loading services.

The total cost of the project is EUR 1,305,700, of which EUR 583,789 is support funding (Norwegian financial instrument funding 496,221 EUR and state funding 87,568 EUR), while the company provides co-financing in the amount of 721,911 EUR.

The planned project implementation period is 24 months.

The opening event of the project "Green innovations with digitized loading process" took place on February 16, 2023. At the event, the representatives of the company "SIA Jaunmīlgrāvja osta kompanija" presented the purpose and planned benefits of the project, as well as the challenges during the implementation.

The company highly appreciates that the Latvian cooperation partners - representatives of the Investment and Development Agency and the Ministry of Economy - had the
opportunity to discuss current issues regarding the implementation of the project in person. The participation of SIA "Jaunmīlgrāvja port company" in this project was positively evaluated also by the representatives of the Riga Freeport Authority, thus setting a great example for other port companies to develop and grow by attracting support funding instruments – in this case, within Norwegian financial instrument „Introduction of Green Innovations and Information and Communication Technology Products".

It is significant that the project implementer fully supports the opinion publicly expressed by the Freeport of Riga Authority that energy efficiency, automation of port processes, and the speed of cargo circulation are among the most important issues of today, which directly affect and will affect in the future the offer and competitiveness of the port of Riga.

2011. gada 11. augustā SIA „Jaunmīlgrāvja ostas kompānija” ar Valsts aģentūru „Latvijas Investīciju un attīstības aģentūra” ir noslēgusi Līgumu Nr.L-JPR-11-0097 par projekta „Izlices celtņa iegāde jaunas kravu apstrādes tehnoloģijas ieviešanai , paaugstinot muitas noliktavas teritorijas izmantošanas efektivitāti”, projekta Nr.JPR/2.1.2.2.2/11/02/057.

Atbilstoši projektā paredzētajām aktivitātēm SIA „Jaunmīlgrāvja ostas kompānija” iegādājās jaunu izlices celtni uz portāla Mantsinen 120 R HybriLift, zem kura var pabraukt autotransports vai dzelzceļa transports.

Kopš celtņa nodošanas ekspluatācijā 2012. g. martā, pateicoties tā celtspējai, būtiski pieaudzis ostā apstrādāto paaugstināta blīvuma ( granīta un dolomīta šķembas, metāllūžņi) beramkravu apjoms. To īpatsvars kopējā kravu plūsmā sasniedzis 43%.

Ņemot vērā pārkraujamo un uzglabājamo kravu daudzveidību un multimodālās noliktavas statusu , kopā ar celtni iepirkti divi dažādi satvērējkausi ( viens – apaļkoku, otrs – paaugstināta blīvuma beramkravu- dzelzsrūdas , granīta šķembu u.c. pārkraušanai) un celtņa āķis ar 25 t kravnesību. Iespējami ātri un ekoloģiski nekaitīgu šo darba orgānu nomaiņu nodrošina iepirkuma ietvaros piegādātais „ātrās”nomaiņas mehānisms.

Pateicoties iespējai virzīt kravas transportu zem portāla, tiek intensīvāk izmantotas noliktavu platības kravu uzglabāšanai, attiecīgi samazinot teritoriju, kas nepieciešama pārkraušanas procesa nodrošināšanai.

Jaunizstrādātā unikālā enerģijas taupīšanas un atjaunošanas iekārtas Mantsinen HybriLift nodrošina ekonomiskāku energoresursu izmantošanu ( degvielas ekonomiju uz pārkrauto kravas vienību, vienlaicīgi saglabājot nepieciešamo jaudu), tādējādi samazinot ietekmi uz vidi kravu apstrādes procesā.

2014.gadā uzsākta Latvijā ražoto sabiedrisko ēku un daudzdzīvokļu māju būvkonstrukciju dzelzsbetona elementu apstrādes ( izkraušana no automašīnām, izvietošana uzglabāšanas laukumā, iekraušana kuģī) tehnoloģiskā shēmas izstrāde un noteiktas celtņa Mantsinen 120 R HybriLift optimālās izmantošanas iespējas šajā procesā.

 2011. gada sākumā SIA “Jaunmīlgrāvja kompānija” ir noslēgusi Līgumu Nr. L-ĀTA-11-0619 ar V/A “Latvijas Investīciju un attīstības aģentūru” par projekta “Dalība starptautiskajās izstādēs “TransRussia 2011” un “Transit-TransKazahstan 2011”” īstenošanu, ko līdzfinansē Eiropas Reģionālās attīstības fonds (ERAF).

Projekta mērķis - īstenot ārējā mārketinga aktivitātes 2011. gadā, piedaloties 2 starptautiskās izstādēs – XV1.starptautiskajā transporta un loģistikas izstādē “TransRussia 2011” Krievijā, Maskavā un starptautiskajā specializētā izstādē “Transit- Transkazahstan 2011” Kazhstānā, Astanā. Ar dalību šajās specializētajās izstādēs uzņēmums plāno piesaistīt jaunas kravas un izvērtēt esošo situāciju starptautiskajos tirgos, lai pilnveidotu savus pakalpojumus.

Projekta ietvaros SIA “Jaunmīlgrāvja kompānija” laikā no 26-29.04.piedalījās starptautiskajā izstādē “TransRussia 2011”.

SIA “Jaunmīlgrāvja kompānija” ir noslēgusi Līgumu Nr. L-ĀTA-14-2203 ar V/A “Latvijas Investīciju un attīstības aģentūra” par projekta “Dalība 19. starptautiskajā transporta un loģistikas  izstādē “TransRussia 2014” īstenošanu, ko līdzfinansē Eiropas Reģionālās attīstības fonds . 
Projekta ietvaros SIA “Jaunmīlgrāvja kompānija”pārstāvji, īstenojot ārējā mārketinga aktivitātes 2014. gadā un , lai izvērtētu esošo situāciju starptautiskajos tirgos, laikā no 22-25.04. piedalījās starptautiskajā transporta un loģistikas izstādē “TransRussia 2014”, Maskavā, Krievijā.
